In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Grace Community Cougars basketball team scored a big 80-27 triumph over the Woden Eagles.

The Cougars (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Buccaneers go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, East Chambers smashed Lovelady (Lovelady, TX), 72-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 16. Woden will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 1-4 record after their 59-40 non-league loss to Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX).
