Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD), 55-50 in a non-league game.

The Tigers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sisseton for a A Region 1 game on Tuesday, December 16. Groton will confront a Redmen team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 1-1.
