The Cougars enter the match with a record of 9-4. Canyon won 57-51 in their recent non-league match against Berkner (Richardson, TX)

The Owls now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burbank for a 5A Region IV District 27 match on Tuesday, December 16. Highlands will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 79-37 non-league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-12.
