Texas High School Basketball - Marlin knocks off Hillsboro

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Marlin Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 42-24 win over the Hillsboro Eagles.

The Bulldogs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Concordia Lutheran was topped by University (Waco, TX), 50-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Hillsboro will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Broncos come into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 39-31 non-league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX).
