The Chargers (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Edinburg North knocked off Lyford (Lyford, TX), 83-48, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Joya for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 16. La Feria will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 73-34 non-league win over Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 6-11.
