California High School Basketball - Menlo School prevails Leland

The Leland Chargers basketball squad (San Jose, CA), was outscored 50-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA)

With the victory, Menlo School advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, December 19. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Half Moon Bay won 58-39 in their recent non-league battle against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA)

The Chargers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Santa Teresa for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 16. Leland will encounter a Saints team coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA). The Saints record now stands at 3-6.
