Texas High School Basketball - Ray victorious over Mission Veterans Memorial

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Ray Texans basketball team scored a good 50-39 triumph over the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots.

The Texans (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Diamondbacks go into the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Pioneer topped Rowe (McAllen, TX), 54-51, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Patriots face the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 match, on Tuesday, December 16. Mission Veterans Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Rattlers enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 49-36 non-league loss to Cole (San Antonio, TX).
