The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Poolville Monarchs to 30 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windthorst for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 13. Slidell will play a Trojans team coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Maypearl (Maypearl, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Poolville falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Chico (Chico, TX) to play the Dragons in a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 10-5. Chico won 65-53 in their recent non-league test against Trinity Christian (Willow Park, TX)
