California High School Basketball - St. Helena can't hold off South Fork

South Fork Cubs (Miranda, CA) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the host St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA), 75-72 in a non-league contest.
The Cubs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Lake (Lakeport, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Clear Lake nipped Calistoga (Calistoga, CA), 58-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Saints confront the Cloverdale Eagles (Cloverdale, CA) in a North Central I contest, on Tuesday, December 16. St. Helena will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 6-3 record after their 69-40 non-league loss to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA).
