The Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) basketball crushed the host ALA - Queen Creek Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ), 73-15 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Longhorns now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mohave Accelerated for a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. Payson will play a Patriots team coming off a 44-23 non-league win over Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, ALA - Queen Creek falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Eagles in a 4A East Sky test on Thursday, January 8. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-3.
