The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) and the host Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX), observed Anahuac's basketball team overwhelm Legacy Christian Academy by a score of 45-14.

The Panthers (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the O'Connell Buccaneers (Galveston, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 6. Legacy Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
