Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO) backers were thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team topple the host Bunceton Dragons (Bunceton, MO), 64-48 in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Community for a Central game on Tuesday, December 16. Sturgeon will confront a Trojans team coming off a 58-37 league win over Slater (Slater, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Bunceton falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Prairie Home (Prairie Home, MO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, December 15. The Panthers enter the outing with a record of 4-2.
