In Friday's non-league bout, the Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) basketball team crushed the visiting Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA), by a tally of 45-8.
The Cubs now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Thibodaux for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Mt. Carmel will play a Tigers team coming off a 59-39 non-league loss to Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-8.
The Crescents (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Landry (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers come into the 3A District 10 test with a 1-2 record.
