Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), 56-51 in a league contest.

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Moravian Academy was tipped by Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA), 69-20, in a league contest.

Next, the Rough Riders face the Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) in a Colonial - North outing, on Wednesday, December 17. Catasauqua will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Bombers enter the outing with a 4-1 record after their 39-25 non-league loss to Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
