The Thorndale Bulldogs defeated the host Freer Buckaroos basketball team by a tally of 39-28 in Friday's non-league game.

The Bulldogs now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Danbury for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. Thorndale will play a Panthers team coming off a 58-19 non-league win over San Isidro (San Isidro, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Freer falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Buckaroos travel to Natalia (Natalia, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Natalia lost 45-28 in their recent non-league test against McMullen County (Tilden, TX)
