    The Hope Blue Wave basketball squad (Providence, RI), was crushed 79-27 in Friday's league challenge with the host Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI)

    The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Saints come into the Division I challenge with a 0-0 record.

    In their next game, the Blue Wave battle the Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) in a Division II match, on Thursday, December 18. Hope will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 57-37 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI).
