The Kerens Bobcats basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Lovelady Lions to 40 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Mildred for a 2A Region III District 18 bout on Friday, December 19. Kerens will play a Eagles team coming off a 48-24 non-league loss to Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Lovelady falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Centerville (Centerville, TX) to play the Tigers in a 2A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Centerville lost 50-27 in their recent non-league bout against Slocum (Elkhart, TX)
