    • North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky River holds off Mooresville

    December 12, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28115

    The Rocky River Ravens basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Mooresville Blue Devils to 62 in the Ravens non-league triumph on Friday.

    The Ravens now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chambers for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Rocky River will confront a Cougars team coming off a 51-15 non-league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.

    With the loss, Mooresville falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league outing on Friday, December 19. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Northwest Cabarrus won 56-20 in their recent league outing against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
