The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) and the host St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR), observed South Side's basketball team overwhelm St. Joseph by a margin of 57-35.

The Hornet (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hector (Hector, AR). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Hector was trounced by Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR), 72-63, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR) in a 2A Region 5 contest, on Friday, December 19. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record.
