The Lanham Christian Lions basketball team (Lanham, MD), was nudged 58-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD)

The Black Knights now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Field for a Potomac Valley battle on Wednesday, December 14. Avalon will confront a Falcons team coming off a 46-43 league win over Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-2.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders come into the Maryland Independent battle with a 6-1 record.
