Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), 50-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Biddeford upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers host York (York, ME) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) in a A South bout, on Friday, December 16. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 43-42 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME).
