The Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME), 42-28 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Hampden (Hampden, ME). The Broncos go into the AA North test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Hampden notched a victory over Edward Little (Auburn, ME), 65-44, in a league outing.

The Scots now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Scarborough for a AA South outing on Friday, December 16. Bonny Eagle will clash with a Red Storm squad coming off a 71-29 league loss to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Red Storm record now stands at 1-1.
