Broaddus Bulldogs (Broaddus, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX), 62-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Broaddus upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hardin (Hardin, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Hardin lost 92-48 in their recent league bout against Kountze (Kountze, TX)

Next up, the Oilers play the Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, January 13. West Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
