West Virginia High School Basketball - Lincoln holds off Buckhannon-Upshur

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) and the visiting Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), saw Lincoln's basketball squad hold off Buckhannon-Upshur by a tally of 53-51.

With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to confront the Indians in a Big Ten challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Bridgeport won 60-57 in their recent non-league challenge against University (Morgantown, WV)

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 75-47 league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV).
