The Santa Ynez Pirates basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Cate Rams to 51 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thacher for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19.

The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Laguna Blanca triumphed over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA), 61-52, in a non-league contest.
