With the victory, South Lyon East upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI) to play the Knights in a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, December 16. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Walled Lake Northern won 35-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Howell (Howell, MI)

Next up, the Chargers play the Clarenceville Trojans (Livonia, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Churchill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 51-48 non-league win over Huron (New Boston, MI).
