The Oelwein Huskies basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Columbus Sailors to 59 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denver for a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Friday, December 16. Oelwein will face a Cyclones team coming off a 84-66 non-league loss to Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Columbus moves to 1-5 on the year. The Sailors host Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to face the Wolverines in a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Friday, December 16. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 4-3. Dike-New Hartford won 70-51 in their recent non-league game against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
