With the victory, Gordon upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Anson (Anson, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Anson lost 44-26 in their recent non-league bout against Merkel (Merkel, TX)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Miles Bulldogs (Miles, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Cross Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 62-47 non-league win over Eula (Clyde, TX).
