The St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the host East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 59-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Purple Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Cox (Harvey, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record.
The Warriors now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a non-league test on Thursday, December 15. East Jefferson will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-5.
