Ohio High School Basketball - Paint Valley knocked off by Fairfield

December 13, 2022: Leesburg, OH 45135

The Fairfield Lions basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Paint Valley Bearcats to 34 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clay for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Fairfield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-48 league loss to Green (Franklin Furnace, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Paint Valley moves to 5-1 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to face the Mustangs in a Scioto Valley match on Friday, December 16. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-3. Westfall won 41-30 in their recent league match against Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH)
