In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL) basketball squad edged the host Okawville Rockets (Okawville, IL), by a count of 48-47.
The Comets (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Staunton (Staunton, IL). The Bulldogs go into the South Central outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Staunton was tipped by Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 55-38, in a non-league outing.
