The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) basketball crushed the visiting West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX), 77-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hawks (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Goose Creek Memorial was trounced by Jersey Village (Houston, TX), 56-51, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Vidor for a 4A Region III District 19 test on Friday, December 16. West Orange-Stark will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 8-6.
