Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL), 77-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Triad (Troy, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Mississippi Valley bout on Friday, December 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Triad won 46-37 in their recent league bout against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL)
Next up, the Purple Panthers clash with the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) in a South Central bout, on Friday, December 16. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Nokomis (Nokomis, IL).
