Texas High School Basketball - Leander overwhelms Taylor

December 13, 2022: Taylor, TX 76574

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Leander Lions (Leander, TX) and the host Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), saw Leander's basketball squad wallop Taylor by a tally of 68-39.

With the victory, Leander improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Ducks play the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Taylor will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 42-35 non-league loss to Connally (Waco, TX).
