Texas High School Basketball - Morgan can't hold off Lingleville

The Lingleville Cardinals basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Morgan Eagles to 44 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De Leon for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Lingleville will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 69-25 non-league loss to Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-12.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Texas Wind (Waco, TX). The come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Texas Wind was nudged by Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX), 59-56, in a non-league contest.
