The Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL) basketball nipped the host Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL), 43-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Timberwolves (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards go into the Tri-County test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Henry-Senachwine was tipped by Annawan (Annawan, IL), 48-34, in a non-league test.
The Princes now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host ROWVA/Williamsfield for a Lincoln Trail test on Thursday, December 22.
