Maine High School Basketball - Mount Abram succumbs to Monmouth Academy

The Monmouth Academy Mustangs topped the visiting Mount Abram Roadrunners basketball team by a final score of 67-56 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a C South game, on Saturday, December 17. Monmouth Academy will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cobras enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME).
With the defeat, Mount Abram moves to 1-1 on the year. The Roadrunners host Dirigo (Dixfield, ME) to face the Cougars in a C South game on Thursday, January 5. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 3-0.
