Texas High School Basketball - Monterey trounced by Tascosa

The Tascosa Rebels routed the visiting Monterey Plainsmen basketball team by a final score of 69-45 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Hirschi Huskies (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 17. Tascosa will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 51-48 non-league win over Ferris (Ferris, TX).

With the defeat, Monterey moves to 10-5 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to face the Sandies in a non-league game on Friday, December 16. The Sandies enter the game with a record of 17-1. Amarillo won 85-39 in their recent non-league game against Childress (Childress, TX)
