Texas High School Basketball - Westwood topples Neches

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Neches Tigers (Neches, TX), by a margin of 62-50.
The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Black Cats go into the 3A Region III District 20 outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Mexia defeated Marlin (Marlin, TX), 71-39, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Martinsville for a 1A Region IV District 27 outing on Friday, December 16. Neches will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 13-4.
