Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) and the host Whitharral Panthers (Whitharral, TX), saw New Deal's basketball squad overcome Whitharral by a tally of 71-52.
With the victory, New Deal improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Post (Post, TX) to confront the Antelopes in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Antelopes come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Post lost 69-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Lorenzo Hornets (Lorenzo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Whitharral will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 39-38 non-league loss to Childress (Childress, TX).
