Illinois High School Basketball - Pecatonica over Newman Central Catholic

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL) and the host Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL), saw Pecatonica's basketball squad overcome Newman Central Catholic by a tally of 80-63.

With the victory, Pecatonica improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL) to confront the Royals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Hinckley-Big Rock won 49-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Amboy (Amboy, IL)

Next up, the Comets confront the Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 53-21 non-league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL).
