The North Mesquite Stallions basketball team (Mesquite, TX), was overwhelmed 50-27 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX)

The Wolverines now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spruce for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Wakeland will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 42-35 non-league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-6.

The Stallions (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region II District 12 battle with a 2-6 record.
