The Red Oak Hawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Sam Houston Texans to 48 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeSoto for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. Red Oak will play a Eagles squad coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Spring Creek Academy (Plano, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.

Next up, the Texans play the North Crowley Panthers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Sam Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
