St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 65-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Charles East upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Fighting Saints travel to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL) to play the North Stars in a DuKane bout on Friday, December 16. The North Stars come into the bout with a record of 2-7. St. Charles North lost 61-45 in their recent league bout against Geneva (Geneva, IL)
Next up, the Saxons play the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - West bout, on Friday, December 16. Schaumburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Fillies/Broncos come into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 47-45 league win over Fremd (Palatine, IL).
