The Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR), 38-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Santiam got by Scio (Scio, OR), 85-24, in a non-league test.
