The Ponderosa Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Adams City Eagles to 11 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Ponderosa will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Denver North (Denver, CO). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
