La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cerritos Dons (Cerritos, CA), 44-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, La Serna upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Schurr (Montebello, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Dons play the Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Cerritos will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
