Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ), 44-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nogales upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Apaches host Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
