Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN) and the visiting Avon Orioles (Avon, IN), saw Westfield's basketball squad overcome Avon by a tally of 48-38.

With the victory, Westfield improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN) to confront the Millers in a Hoosier Crossroads challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Millers come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Noblesville won 65-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Oakton (Vienna, VA)

Next up, the Orioles confront the Brownsburg Bulldogs (Brownsburg, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads challenge, on Friday, December 16. Avon will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 59-43 non-league loss to Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN).
