Georgia High School Basketball - Rabun Gap-Nacoochee can't hold off Buford

December 13, 2022: Buford, GA 30518

The Buford Wolves basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles to 54 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Buford will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-1.

The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Carmel Christian was nudged by Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 71-46, in a non-league contest.
